As a contrast to the heaviness of the morning trip to the Killing Fields, my motorbike driver stopped by Wat Nunmony on the way back into Phnom Penh. One of the rarer spottings is a Buddhist nun like this one - clad in white, and sporting the same haircut as the men. I'm always keen to visit Buddhist temples - there's usually something amazing to photograph whether it be decaying murals or monks frolicking. I once witnessed a group of Buddhist monks in Bangkok cleaning the marble-floored exterior of their temple at night with "Suds-A-Lot" and fire hoses; needless to say they were splashing around like it was Buddha's Big Slip-n-Slide.
