well sometimes you don't have to work much at all for something interesting. this couldn't be a more straightforward shot - this street performer on the Ramblas in Barcelona, Spain, caught my eye. come to think of it i don't think she even was a performer - she just stood by her poster and tipped her hat. but what an outfit - and what i face. i did get as close to her as possible, though, to fill the frame - since the background was really distracting.
