getting up for sunrise is, for me, like removing a lung. but seeing sunrise is always worth it - especially in european towns that fill with tourists by midday. here on the canals in Bruges, Belgium, i am king of the world (for an hour). again my all-purpose graduated filter makes an appearance - giving the top of the shot a big of pinkish hue. it was still fairly dim out, so my 200 ASA film required a tripod.
