i have to admit this might be my favorite of the whole group. this is the kind of shot you couldn't plan - you just get in the fray and see what happens. it's 3 locals playing streetball in Arles, France...maybe it's streetball and maybe it's "i've got the ball now you come get it." as the little group came tearing past me in a tight alleyway, i held down the button and machine-gunned off about 4 pictures, panning with them as they ran. in this shot they're all visible, and the leftward motion combined with the crispness of the girl's braids really makes it for me. european alleys tend to be extremely dim - 400 ASA film makes crisp photos feasible.
