As I rode my bike to town one day, these girls were goofing around in the lagoon a hundred feet from shore. I loved the colors of the sky and sea and the clothes they were wearing, all the super-saturation. When the girls approached, I could finally make out that they were eating lunch - fresh fish from the lagoon - and I do mean fresh. I'm talkin' sushi, uncooked, freshly plucked from the water, with big bites missing. They were very generous and offered me some, but after getting giardia in Cambodia I think I've learned my intestines are not as parasite-proof as I'd like.
