This pair of foppish counts was vogueing on the balustrade above the masses on a packed day in St. Mark's Square. I scurried up the back of the balcony to gain access to shoot them from the window, unknown. After a few minutes they turned and regally presented themselves for closer inspection. Just as I composed the image to my satisfaction and began snapping, I was promptly shat upon by an overpassing pigeon. The man in green kindly assured me that such an event was a portend of good luck.
